Home Energy Solutions Campaign
The Connecticut Energy Efficiency Fund supports programs that provide financial incentives to help you reduce the amount of energy used in your home or business.
These Energy Efficiency Programs, which are funded through a charge on your electric bill, are reviewed by the Energy Conservation Management Board, approved by the Connecticut Department of Public Utility Control and administered by Eversource (formerly Connecticut Light & Power) and the United Illuminating Company.
All Eversource and UI customers contribute to the Connecticut Energy Efficiency Fund through the Combined Public Benefits Charge on their electric bill. Customers of Connecticut Natural Gas, Southern Connecticut Gas Company and Yankee Gas Services Company contribute through a conservation charge on gas bills.
